The Youth Leadership program is for youth aged 14+, and includes two days of training seminars, followed by a two week placement within our award winning Summer Discovery camps.  Our training seminars will run July 5 & 6, and will prepare you for volunteering with children between the ages of 4-11. Topics include leadership, team-building and child development. Your following two week placement will take place between July 10- August 18 with your choice of volunteering within our Junior Discovery Camp (ages 4-6) or Summer Discovery Camp (ages 7-11).

Application deadline has been extended to Tuesday, July 4th 2017

Once you have successfully submitted your application form, you will be contacted by our Summer Programs Assistant to arrange an in-person meeting. 

Volunteer Requirements

To volunteer you must be 14 years of age or entering high school as of September 2017.

All successful applicants will be required to complete a police record check. All information regarding the police check process will be provided when you receive your acceptance as a volunteer. 

Cost of Program

There is a $25 fee for the Youth Leadership Program (includes a program T-Shirt).
