MUSE is presented by the Peterborough Museum & Archives and the Toronto International Film Festival Group, which has brought Canadian and International Film to Peterborough since 1998.

All film screenings take place at the Galaxy Cinemas, located at 320 Water Street in Peterborough.

Season Passes

Beginning with the Winter-Spring 2013 Series, all MUSE series passes will be now sold exclusively through the Peterborough Memorial Centre Box Office. Passes may be purchased either in person, by telephone or online (NOTE: An account is required to purchase online. Setting up your account in advance is strongly recommended, to ensure speedy purchasing once passes go on sale. Contact PMC Box Office at 705.743.3561 for assistance.)

In Person: Visit the Peterborough Memorial Centre Box Office at 151 Lansdowne Street, West, between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm. Pament methods of Cash, Credit, Debit Card & PMC Gift Certificates are accepted. If you require accessible seating, please indicate this at the time of purchase.

Online: http://www.memorialcentre.ca (must have an online account established with the box office). Credit card payments accepted (VISA, MasterCard, American Express). If you require accessible seating however, please purchase by telephone or in person to request this seating, as space is limited.

MUSE Film Series Details
Where:

Galaxy Cinemas, 320 Water Street, Peterborough, Ontario.
When:

Films screened on Sundays at 4 p.m.; Mondays at 7 p.m.

Season Passes:

Passes for each upcoming series will be sold beginning on the 2nd Monday of August (for each Fall Series) or the 2nd Monday of December (each Winter-Spring Series).

  • Winter-Spring 2013 Passes: on sale beginning Monday, December 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m.
  • Fall 2013 Passes: on sale beginning Monday, August 12, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.
  • Winter-Spring 2014 Passes: on sale beginning Monday, December 9, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.
  • Fall 2014 Passes: on sale beginning Monday, August 11, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
Cost: 

Winter/Spring 2013 Season Passes: $96.00 + tax and service fee (8 films @ $12.00 each).

RUSH Tickets: $15.00 each.
RUSH Tickets:

RUSH tickets go on sale 10 minutes before each film at the MUSE Courtesy Desk in the Galaxy Lobby, for $15.00. (Expect the theatre to be near capacity and seating options limited.)

Switching Tickets:

The Museum will continue to provide a service which effectively allows patrons to switch tickets from a Sunday to Monday (or vice versa). To switch, you must purchase a Rush ticket for the screening you are switching to (see above). If you surrender your original ticket, you can purchase your Rush ticket for the discounted price of $5.00.
Accessible Seating: Patrons in wheelchairs can reserve special seating. This must be arranged through the Peterborough Memorial Centre Box Office at the time of ticket purchase. With sufficient proof, the PMC Box Office will issue special reserve tickets entitling you and a companion designated seats in the front row of the upper tier of seats.
IMPORTANT NOTE: these special reserve tickets can only be purchased by phone, or in person, at the Memorial Centre Box Office.
