A Message from Our Camp Instructor (2018)

Hi everyone!  My name is Jeff Guerin and I will be returning as the Discovery Educator for Junior Summer Discovery this summer.  My family and I moved to Peterborough from Cambridge, Ontario about three years ago when I took a job with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board, and we have been very happy to find friendly people and a variety of community-oriented events in this great city!

I have been fortunate in my career so far to have gained a great deal of experience working with young minds.                                                                           These experiences include: Kindergarten placementsCamper sitting on the floor during Teacher's College and at Kidsability, volunteering in Kindergarten classes in Cambridge, working as the English Language Teacher in a Kindergarten facility in South Korea, and teaching a number of primary classes in the Peterborough area as an Occasional Teacher.  I am looking forward to developing and delivering a great program that will combine discovery, learning and fun for the children and educators alike!     - Jeff
