Winter Break Discovery Camps- January 3/4/5 2018

We are excited to be offering three fun filled days of Winter Discovery Camp on January 3,4 & 5th 2018! Let's experiment, craft and play as we learn about northern animals, ice & snow, and explore the magic of winter at the Museum. Don't miss out on these unique camps for ages 4-11 with half day and single day registration available. 

TimeKids experimenting with snow

PA Day camps run two sessions each day (9:00 AM to 12:00 NOON and 1:00 to 4:00 PM).  Morning and afternoon sessions are led by the same instructor and follow the same theme but are independent camps.  Campers can join one or both sessions (lunch is supervised and takes place on site from 12:00 NOON until 1:00 PM for campers staying the whole day).


$20/half day; $40 full day

What to Bring

nut free morning and/ or afternoon snack, water bottle, appropriate outdoor winter clothing and nut free lunch (if staying for whole day). The Museum promotes a nut free environment. 

Personal Health FormMarch Break - Kids in Snow

Each child attending camp must complete and submit a Personal Health Form. This form will be kept on file at the Museum, and only needs to be completed once each year. The form can either be picked up at the Peterborough Museum & Archives, mailed/e-mailed to you, or downloaded from our website.

Please submit health forms to the Museum prior to or on the first day of camp your child attends. If you would like a form mailed/emailed to you please contact the PMA's Education Officer at 705-743-5180 ext. 2475 or 


Preregister for a half day, a whole day, a week, whatever best suits your schedule. Pre-registration is required for all of our day camp program. You can register online, by telephone (705-743-5180) or in person at the Peterborough Museum & Archives (cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard or American Express)


Refunds may be requested up to 5 business days prior to the start of the program. An administration fee of 10% of class fees will be withheld, with a minimum fee of $5.  


In the course of all program activities, photos will be taken and audio and/or visual recordings may be made.  The Peterborough Museum & Archives reserves the right to use all photographs and videos of all our programs, participants, special events and facilities for promotional purposes.
